The couple transformed architecture into emotion and ritual into spectacle.
Fede & Adrián had a clear vision: their wedding would not be a series of moments, but a total experience. A shared story where architecture, emotion, and staging would naturally converse. To achieve this, they chose La Cartuja de Ara Christi, a 13th-century monastery transformed for the occasion into a contemporary setting capable of telling their story without betraying its history.
The choice of venue marked the beginning of a challenge as ambitious as it was precise: to integrate logistics, creativity, and gastronomy for a group of guests arriving from across Spain and from the other side of the Atlantic. The project took shape with Eterna Prometida, guided by the architectural vision of its founder, Mª Fernanda, and Gourmet Catering & Eventos, responsible for the space and culinary proposal—a collaboration that resulted in a truly memorable event.

Unprecedented Spaces to Celebrate
The day’s narrative was carried by the scenography: lighting, candles, projections, and live performances accompanied guests from the reception to the ceremony, held in the refectory—an unprecedented space for this type of wedding—where a floral and geometric installation created an immersive atmosphere.
The dinner that followed took place inside the church of the Cartuja, a gesture as daring as it was elegant: a fusion of modernity, solemnity, and timeless beauty.
Gastronomy and Art in Service of the Celebration
Conceived as an immersive experience, the dinner unfolded amid musical performances and acrobatic acts seamlessly integrated into the evening. The visual composition emphasized clear symmetry along the central nave: two elongated tables as the main axes and the couple’s table at the heart of the space. Every element was chosen with precision, ensuring it never competed with the architectural power of the surroundings.
Lighting—warm and carefully measured—and candlelit ambiance proved decisive, as did the floral design, featuring white anthuriums and dahlias as protagonists: delicate, expressive flowers perfectly aligned with the couple’s personalities.
Among the most celebrated moments were the live unveiling of the wedding cake—over one and a half meters in diameter—culminated by Fede and Adrián with a veil of powdered sugar; the toast before an impressive tower of glasses; and, especially, when the pianist played The Man on the Piano and guests, in unison, raised their glasses to sing a cappella.
A collective moment that distilled the essence of the day: closeness, joy, and authenticity.
During the cocktail, a live illustrator and a cigar roller added layers of craftsmanship and surprise. As the afternoon drew to a close, Loren Allred’s Never Enough signaled the transition to dinner. The melody accompanied guests through the cloister until, before the closed doors of the church, two acrobats opened them, and a singer continued the song live.
It was the perfect threshold into the night: a finale—or perhaps a beginning—filled with emotion, the result of months of planning and a shared dream that, for once, became reality.
