Edificio del Reloj
The Clock Building is an architectural emblem of the city of Valencia. The building used to house the old maritime station and the headquarters of the Port Authority.
The tower
This Clock Tower is of French inspiration since it is a copy of the Lyon station in France, designed in 1914 and its function was to serve as an important maritime entrance to the city. The tower is attached to the building and is finished with an original weathervane in the shape of a ship and below is a bell called Maria and cast in 1915.
The building
The building was restored for the America’s Cup. It is currently also used to host business and professional events. It has a capacity of 300 seated diners and up to a maximum capacity of 500 in cocktail service.
