The Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències was the scene of this important event, in which more than 1,000 international real estate professionals from more than 35 countries met for three full days..

In addition to attending the presentations and participating in networking activities, the attendees had the opportunity to savor the best of Valencian gastronomy in a spectacular food court managed by Gourmet Catering & Events in which they found different proposals made with products of proximity, as well as typical elaborations such as horchata or churros.

“The great international events represent a great opportunity for the city because they make it a great showcase worldwide and a promoter for the tourism sector in Valencia. For this reason, we wanted that, in addition to the purely business content, the guests can enjoy the best sample of our Mediterranean gastronomy”, they pointed out from gourmet.

Among the reasons that led the company to choose Valencia for this event are good communications, the proximity of the airport to the city, the hotel plant, the Mediterranean climate and, of course, the emblematic Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències. At the same time, the designation of the city as European Green Capital is undoubtedly an added value.

The choice of the capital of Túria was no coincidence, since the city is one of the most attractive destinations in Europe for the celebration of MICE events (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions). Valencia is one of the main European MICE destinations and ranks 28th in Europe and 36th worldwide in the ranking of the International Association of Congresses and Conventions (ICCA) that classifies cities based on the number of international events they host, the number of Delegates and infrastructure available for events.

According to the Visit Valencia Foundation, in 2023 the city held more than 109 international congresses and hosted 2,238 MICE events that brought together more than 670,000 attendees, consolidating even more as a key destination for tourism of meetings, a sector that at the state level points to a growth of 11.05% and 6.65% for the years 2024 and 2025 respectively, according to the report of the Spain Convention Bureau.

According to data from the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), in 2023, Spain registered a total of 10.36 million passengers in the MICE sector (meetings, incentives, congresses and exhibitions), which represents an increase of 1.4% in Comparison with 2019, when there were 10.2 million. The main transmitting markets were Germany, France, Italy and Benelux, which generated between 37% and 42% of MICE business volume in Spain. This percentage is almost double what the rest of Europe contributed, which represents between 18% and 23%, In addition, in economic terms, the MICE sector reached a turnover of 13,357 million euros in 2023, with a growth 8.5% compared to 2019.
