We are very proud to announce that Gourmet Catering & events and the mare that goes asindown have been highlighted in a report by blachreport, a prestigious German magazine specialized in corporate events.
Blachreport highlights Valencia as a benchmark in inclusion within the European MICE sector. The publication places special emphasis on the sea that goes, a project developed by ASINOWN VALENCIA.

A project that inspires Europe
During a visit to Valencia organized by TourSpain In collaboration with local and private entities such as Visit Valencia and see Network, , The German journalist Peter Blach, founder of blachreport, had the opportunity to meet first-hand the mare that is going from Asindown.
La Mare que VA is a training center in hospitality and tourism for young people with Down syndrome and intellectual disability, located in the Valencian Marina. There, students design and develop real events, which allows them to train in a professional environment and acquire the necessary skills to function successfully in the sector.
With this objective, the events and the collaboration of Asindown with Gourmet Catering & Events, they work as a talent accelerator and a lever to offer them decent work. In this way, we make it easier for students to have their first work experiences, while promoting their training, as well as many other students without disabilities. Equal opportunities are key in this process.
The project is born to create and offer opportunities to people who, due to their disability, have not been able to access the world of work. The objective is to demonstrate that they can work successfully, while at the same time defying stereotypes and prejudices rooted in society. Convinced that you should only talk about capacities, in the Mare that goes a different way of living events is offered, more slow and human. From Gourmet Catering & events we wanted to make our this philosophy by taking it to other spaces where we have a presence such as the Congress Center of Valencia, the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia or Hotel Spa Las Arenas, among others.
Inclusion and social transformation
Including people with intellectual disabilities and Down Syndrome at events enriches everyone. This was also highlighted by Peter Blach in his report. Devoting a central report in her magazine to the experience lived in Valencia, she has also included an interview with our Director of Business Development and International Relations, Corinna Heilmann.
