With everything that Valencian companies from areas affected by the DANA have experienced, they deserve a celebration—not only of their efforts to overcome losses but also to move forward, rebuild, and improve. Many have had to rise again. This gathering is for all of them, to support them and toast to new beginnings. To Valencia!

In a land of wisdom and the skilled hands of renowned artisans, designers, and architects, Valencia is today the capital of design, as well as new architecture and craftsmanship. It is a paradise for young talent and established creative leaders alike. That is why Feria Hábitat Valencia (FHV) has been the perfect setting to meet friends and leading figures in interior design, architecture, and design.

Within the framework of Feria Hábitat Valencia 2025

Feria Hábitat Valencia took place in the city of Valencia from Tuesday, September 30, to Thursday, October 2, 2025, alongside Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar and a new edition of Salón Nude (a space dedicated to young creatives).

This Valencian fair is Spain’s leading international showcase for the national habitat industry, featuring a wide range of furniture, lighting, decoration, upholstery, and rest products. Its significance is reflected in the 2024 edition, which brought together 655 national and international brands and attracted around 60,000 professional visitors.

This year, Interiores magazine had the pleasure of collaborating with interior designer Sigfrido Serra on the creation of Pinknic, a space that celebrates textiles, design, and color through a sensory experience within Textilhogar. It is a temporary home where fabric takes center stage, highlighting softness, domesticity, and emotionality as key elements of interior architecture. Visitors who joined us discovered that pink was the common thread throughout the entire space—because beyond being a color, it is an attitude.

Celebrated in a Place Steeped in History: The Valeriola Palace

The cocktail took place in an iconic location in the historic center of Valencia — a palace primarily Baroque in style, with Gothic touches, built in the early 17th century. It has borne witness to the many eras the city has lived through, and with each phase of restoration, a deeper layer of its historical foundations has been revealed.

It first stood over a Roman circus later used by the Visigoths as a quarry, followed by an Arab kiln, and eventually, part of a Jewish atzucac (a dead-end alley) was uncovered. Each layer covered the one before it until the Lord of Valeriola purchased the land in the 16th century with the intention of transforming it into a palace — complete with the façade and noble halls that define its character today. Over time, it evolved from palace to newspaper headquarters, then to a cocktail bar, and now, once again, it has been restored to its original splendor.

We would like to thank the Hortensia Herrero Art Centre for opening its doors and welcoming us into this space that unites art, history, and architecture — and extend our warmest congratulations to Hortensia Herrero for creating this jewel for the city of Valencia.

An Inspiring Cocktail Evening

The evening began with a guided tour of the palace, immersing guests in its rich history and art. Afterwards, Pilar, our director, offered a few words of welcome, highlighting that: “We recognize the outstanding work of Valencians in preserving this land — especially through design.” Because indeed, design has proven to be a true driver of recovery in challenging times.

After passing through the photocall, guests enjoyed a delightful selection of bites crafted by Gourmet Catering & Eventos.

Kave Home’s Inspiring Space

Kave Home managed to make the majestic palace feel like a true home, thanks to the beautifully arranged furniture sets placed throughout the main hall. The most on-trend seating pieces were paired with warm lighting fixtures, offering both comfort and inspiration to all guests.

Brabantia, one of the event’s sponsors, showcased its new NewIcon series and the updated Bo collection, which has been expanded with new sizes — 4L, 7L, 12L, and 30L — featuring both pedal and Touch systems. Photo: Alfredo Garófano.

Brabantia’s Most Practical Exhibition

During the event, we featured a collection of Brabantia bins that looked nothing short of works of art. Some of the attending interior designers even confessed that they are among their favorites. With innovative and elegant designs, Brabantia demonstrated that an everyday object — one that usually goes unnoticed — can become a key element in a home’s interior design.

With the Presence of Uecko

The Uecko team, experts in luxury wardrobes and dressing rooms, also joined us, showing their full support for Valencia and their deep appreciation for design — which, as we’ve said, is one of the driving forces behind recovery.
