The Cartuja de Ara Christi by Gourmet Catering & Eventos, in Valencia, became the setting for an unprecedented celebration that fused haute cuisine, avant-garde aesthetics, and historical heritage. Claudia and Fede’s luxury wedding in Valencia redefined the concept of a contemporary celebration through haute cuisine, avant-garde aesthetics, and an immersive production.
From the very beginning, Claudia and Fede’s love story, born in Argentina and solidified miles apart, hinted at something extraordinary. “Mom, I’m going to marry Fede,” Claudia said just weeks after meeting him. And, against all odds, she did.
The chosen venue was La Cartuja de Ara Christi by Gourmet Catering & Eventos, a 17th-century monastery where the historical and the contemporary coexist in perfect harmony. There, beneath a reinterpreted ancient church, a conceptual wedding took shape, which its protagonists define in three words: elegance, gastronomic indulgence, and a techno party.

Between the romantic and the dark
Inspired by their passion for fashion, travel, and especially a pivotal trip to New York, Claudia and Fede envisioned a staging that defied convention. The result: an immersive atmosphere where romance blended with darkness, creating a theatrical intensity never before seen in the bridal world.
The monastery’s old church was transformed into the epicenter of a “rave wedding”: real church pews, lighting exclusively by candles and an imposing neon cross presided over a space where electronic music set the rhythm from the very first moment.
Every detail was designed to surprise. From the bride’s entrance in a red Ferrari Purosangue to a party opening where guests discovered the newlyweds on the DJ’s stage, in a candlelit aisle.

Gastronomy as an emotional axis
If there was a clear common thread running through this celebration, it was gastronomy. For Claudia, who comes from a family with two generations dedicated to the restaurant business, cooking is not just a pleasure, but an emotional language.
With the help of Gourmet Catering & Eventos, a completely personalized culinary proposal was designed, where Spain and Argentina engaged in a contemporary dialogue.
The format broke with the traditional banquet, giving way to a dynamic and social experience based on gastronomic stations. A spectacular Argentine barbecue buffet, featuring authentic products such as sweetbreads, skirt steak, chorizo, and blood sausage, captivated guests from both sides of the Atlantic.
A Valencian corner reinvented with a surprising duck rice with orange and a fideuà with sobrasada and langoustines, elevated tradition to a new dimension.
Both offerings coexisted with stations dedicated to reinterpreted classics such as artichokes with ham or potatoes with truffled eggs. And, as an essential touch, two master ham carvers.
The gastronomic proposal was paired with a careful selection of wines and a constant presence of Veuve Clicquot champagne, personally chosen by the bride and groom, which flowed from the beginning to the last toast.

A tailor-made production
Behind this flawless choreography was a team of professionals who brought to life a vision as ambitious as it was precise. Coordination was handled by Bea from La Única, while creative and floral direction was led by El Taller de Clo. Audioprobe was responsible for the audiovisual production, typical of major festivals, and Events & Style developed custom furniture that reinforced the event’s aesthetic identity.
The couple’s level of involvement was absolute. Every texture, every light, every culinary cut was supervised in detail. “We knew exactly what we wanted and what we didn’t,” they explain.

An event designed to surprise
The wedding narrative was built on a single principle: the element of surprise. Guests gradually discovered a celebration that defied all expectations.
From a cake cutting turned into a performance to the rhythm of electronic music, to the throwing of a bouquet for the ladies and a bottle of Blue Label whisky for the gentlemen, to the unexpected appearance of ice cream in the middle of the party.
Everything was designed to excite, entertain and, above all, leave a lasting impression.
“We wanted them to remember how good the food was, how impressive the space was, and the amazing party we had together,” Claudia summarizes.
And so it was.
Claudia and Fede’s wedding was more than a celebration: it was a manifesto on how contemporary luxury is redefined through personalization, emotion, and culinary excellence. An experience where Gourmet Catering & Eventos once again proved to be the best partner when creativity and precision meet.
