A wedding in Valencia in an old monastery

After a lifetime together, the couple formally married last September in a small intimate ceremony in Formentera, where they made their first getaway when they were teenagers.

Months later, Alba and Jacobo celebrated their link in Valencia surrounded by all their family and friends. The place they chose was the Ara Christi Charterhouse, an old Valencian monastery built in 1585, full of natural spaces and a Renaissance architectural style.

An autumnal decoration with a nod to Valencia

As the main element they chose autumn, although they adapted the environment to the moment through small details with a Christmas style. However, the couple wanted to flee from the tones and prints of the time, moving away from the red colors or the Scottish paintings.. “We wanted something more minimalist in neutral tones, because we also believed that it could combine very well with the stone of the columns of the place of celebration”, tells the couple.

In this way, they decided that the color palette of their wedding in Valencia would focus on the brown and orange tones, as well as different shades of green, such as olives, which were accompanied by other chromatic ranges such as grays. As decorative elements, the couple opted for autumnal branches, pineapples, and white candles, which managed to adorn the space according to the theme. To get closer to his homeland, Valencia, the couple added dry orange details, which were present at the invitations, at the Seating Plan and at the banquet centers.

A satin wedding dress and very special details

For her bridal look, Alba wore two designer dresses Claudia Llagostera. As a first styling, he opted for a satin-plated design with a crossed neckline and a detail on the neck. The cuffs of the dress kept a very special secret: some old twins of Alba’s grandfather.

To complete the look, the bride used some earrings and piercings of the firm Paulet’s m and a bracelet pdepaola, gift from her friends before the pre-wedding. As shoes he opted for some velvet ones of Peter Miralles, in a gray tone and with a maxi-platform.

“I wanted the bouquet to be related to the rest of the wedding decoration and to follow the same color range”, says the protagonist. the team of the CLO’S WORKSHOP He made a bouquet with a mixture of pine, magnolia, some ocher leaves and five white roses. To tie it, the bride chose a white bow with a lighthouse and a coral embroidered by one of her friends. In addition, he had recorded the initials of the couple and those of his dog, Nino.

As a second look, the bride wore a two-piece set of pants and top, full of sequins and feathers, also by Claudia Llagostera.
