We love the love stories that begin in summer, thus began the story between Vicky (from Santander) and Santiago (from Valencia). The parents of both are from a small town in Burgos, Hontoria del Pinar… And there it all started!
The request took place in Santander, in Delluz, an emblematic restaurant located in the Sardinero, the religious ceremony in the Santa Maria del Puig Monastery and the subsequent celebration in the Charterhouse of Ara Christi. A perfect tandem!
They did not use Wedding Planner but they told the help of great professionals such as Japhet Meneses, director of Cartuja de Ara Christi, Belinda Duart that with its furniture and small details I create the magic of space and the clo workshop with its beautiful flowers.
the entrance of the Ara Christi Charterhouse It was decorated with baskets of cultivated and wild flowers. The space was beautiful, two rooms were created, a more rustic one, in the cloister, where the cocktail was served, and another, elegant and relaxed for dinner with special attention to the decoration of the tables.
It was a current wedding but without losing the traditional point that never goes out of style.
The bride and groom participated in the preparations and in all the details. The groom designed a beer bar and as a nod to Vicky’s land they made a “corner” with Harlequin preserves Attended by a lady who offered the anchovies right there for her tasting. A complete success!
catering was in charge Gourmet Catering & SPACES. We saw with satisfaction as two of the “Gourmet Classics”, the sirloin of veal with salt with fried leek accompanied by gourmet puree and Kitkat’s temptation, were highly celebrated.
The bride, with a long-sleeved dress and neckline on the back of Quiros wall, it was dazzling. It was completed with a personal detail of the bride, a jewel on the back, and a short veil-style fifties that changed in the cocktail for an original turban of Dapasantander.
