Pablo and Laura’s Wedding: A Love Story Turned into Fine Dining Under the Stars

There are celebrations that make you smile. Others touch your heart forever.
Pablo and Laura’s wedding was both — a sensory story written with light, flowers, and dishes capable of enchanting.

After a ceremony at the majestic Iglesia Castrense de Santo Domingo in Valencia, filled with solemnity and emotion, the guests moved to Huerto San Vicente by Gourmet Catering & Eventos, where a setting that seemed straight out of a fashion editorial awaited them. From the very beginning, the couple embraced an aesthetic mantra that guided everything: “elegant fine dine” — the perfect balance between Pablo’s classic elegance and Laura’s romantic, creative sensibility.

A Scenography That Turned the Sky into a Ceiling

Nothing in the décor was incidental. Every element — from the first candle to the last flower — was designed as if it were part of an emotional film set. The tables, dressed in ethereal icy hues, provided the perfect canvas for light to work its magic. Suspended garlands created the illusion of dining under a sky of their own, and elongated candelabras alongside seemingly infinite candles sculpted an intimate and luminous nighttime landscape. Cut crystal glassware played with reflections, classic flatware paid homage to the traditions of haute dining, and vintage chargers added a refined nostalgic touch only pieces with history can bring.
A luxury without excess, a sophistication without pretension, a conscious beauty.

Flowers That Spoke of Freedom and Movement

The floral design became the emotional voice of the wedding. In a chromatic symphony of greens, pinks, and deep reds — perfect for bidding farewell to summer — flowers unfurled with a controlled drama: amaranthus flowing freely, anthuriums lending sculptural character, and blooms that seemed to dance with the nighttime breeze. The ensemble didn’t just beautify; it brought life to the tables, making them feel alive, almost breathing in sync with the guests.

It was an atmosphere so enveloping that it made one forget that beyond those lights and flowers, the world continued to turn.

A Gastronomic Experience Turned into Memory

If the décor impressed at first glance, the gastronomy left a lasting impression.
The cocktail hour offered a hedonistic journey through familiar flavors elevated to their highest expression. Seared scallops, quail eggs with sobrasada, and a crispy wagyu cloud were among the guests’ favorites.

But the true standing ovation moment came during dinner: beef tenderloin cooked to each guest’s perfect point, accompanied by ultra‑thin potato millefeuille and a mushroom duxelle. The sauce — refined through a personalization process with the culinary team — enhanced without overshadowing the meat’s excellence. An impeccable execution in service of flavor: cuisine that listens, interprets, and evokes emotion.

When a room full of people falls silent, it means the food is speaking loudly.

Details That Embrace

The aesthetic coherence held until the last nuance — even in what wasn’t immediately visible. The stationery, hand‑designed by one of the bride’s friends, became a physical testament to the couple’s personality: authentic illustrations, sensitive calligraphy, and pieces that felt like small works of art meant to be treasured beyond the event itself.

The music — a carefully curated soundtrack — marked the most emotional moments, from an unexpectedly personal entrance to a first dance that united generations and memories in a single rhythm.
Nothing was missing. Nothing was superfluous. Every choice had intention: making each guest feel an indispensable part of the story.

Emotional Legacy: When Love Also Dresses in Memory

For Pablo and Laura, their wedding day didn’t just celebrate their present — it honored their family histories. Both wanted to carry pieces of their grandparents with them, integrating meaningful heirlooms into their attire.

Laura wore a vintage Art Deco ring from her maternal grandmother, paired with three‑diamond earrings — a timeless gift from her father in honor of her other grandmother. These heirlooms carried soul and dialogues of love with her gown.

Pablo wore a gold Omega watch inherited from his paternal grandfather and cufflinks from his maternal grandfather. His tie — from an Italian label — was a gift from a close friend, and Laura’s shoes were a present from one of her dearest friends. Each accessory transformed into a gesture of shared love.

The Dress: A Piece Created to Be True to Laura

When it came to wedding dresses, Laura always had one certainty: Castellar Granados. The creative process with the atelier was a deeply emotional experience, shared with her mother and best friend. The result was a romantic, flowing gown free of rigid structures and formal cuts — a silhouette that breathed and moved with every step, every dance, every moment of freedom.

The detachable sleeves provided the most classic and sophisticated counterpoint — a perfect harmony of romance and timeless elegance.
