Wedding inspiration expert Paloma Hernández (@siiiiquiero) said ‘I do’ to Marcos with a ceremony inspired by the Mediterranean and the Valencian huerta.

Finally, Paloma Hernández—the creative mind behind the popular wedding inspiration account @siiiiquiero—became a bride. She and Marcos Vidal celebrated a ceremony inspired by the light, flavors, and craftsmanship of the Mediterranean. Their wedding, held at Huerto de San Vicente, became the first religious ceremony hosted in this charming Valencian church, set within a historic orange orchard estate just outside Valencia. Its patios, glass-enclosed salons, and citrus-scented air create a truly Mediterranean postcard setting.
A Setting Rooted in the Valencian Huerta
Huerto de San Vicente, an exclusive venue managed by Gourmet Catering & Eventos, transformed its gardens into a blooming orange blossom meadow. The ceremony, styled in shades of pink and bougainvillea, paid tribute to traditional Valencian farmhouse architecture and the citrus orchard heritage. It’s easy to see why historic orchards and country estates along the Levantine coast are increasingly sought after for weddings.
The Bride: Serene Haute Couture
Paloma entrusted her bridal dream to Edgar Molina Atelier, which designed a dress evoking a bucolic femininity, adorned with natural silk organza flowers, and finished with a sash-veil that floated like a lateen sail at sunset. Metallic Lola Cruz sandals completed the look, while makeup and hair artist Mireia Costa opted for a low updo and a sun-kissed makeup effect. The bouquet, designed by El Taller de Clo, was a minimalist creation made entirely of sanguisorba.

Mediterranean Décor and Island Craftsmanship
At the grand imperial table, linens featured llengües mallorquines, the iconic hand-dyed Balearic ikat evoking the Tramontana wind. Blue tones combined with bougainvillea created a youthful, fun, yet sophisticated Mediterranean ambiance. Crystal glassware, chargers, and candelabras mirrored the sparkling reflections of the sea, reinforcing the coastal inspiration.
Gastronomy That Tastes of the Sea
The culinary experience, crafted by Gourmet Catering & Eventos, brought Balearic flavors to the Valencian huerta. Starters included poached egg with carabineros shrimp and Balearic-style potatoes—a contemporary reinterpretation of Formentera lobster with egg and potatoes, a beloved summer dish. Guests also enjoyed salt-crusted beef tenderloin, orange and strawberry sorbet, and coconut mousse with pineapple and cardamom for dessert.
Party: Sound, Light, and Fantasy
The dance floor came alive thanks to the musical and lighting expertise of Somos Gente de Bien, transforming the dinner into a summer festival. Eventland Agency elevated the immersive experience with live Bad Bunny-inspired performances and living disco balls, while Laguna Santa captured every moment with cinematic wedding films.

Insider Guests
Notable wedding industry figures attended, including wedding planner Lorena Oliver—recently recognized by Forbes as one of the most influential women in the bridal business—together with her partner Ángela Soldevila, and Ángela Cócera, Director of Venues at Gourmet Catering & Eventos, supporting the bride in a professional show of camaraderie.
A Mediterranean Manifesto
From Mallorcan ikat linens to reinvented lobster fritters, and from the warmth of esparto to a soundtrack mixing rumba with Valencian indie, Paloma Hernández’s wedding embodies today’s trend: returning to Mediterranean roots with a contemporary eye. A celebration of authenticity, warm outdoor light, and artisan storytelling—just as this bride turned her Instagram stories into a living chronicle of her dream come true.
