There are weddings that are remembered by what you see. And then there are the weddings that are remembered for what it feels like. The Sandra and Jose, held at the farm Park of the Marquise (Murcia), was just that: a complete sensory experience, woven with a narrative impeccable, a symbolism intimate and a gastronomic proposal intended to fall in love with each bite.

From Gourmet Catering & Events, we had the privilege of accompanying them on a day that was not looking for just be nice: seeking to be unforgettable.

An imaginary light: enter an enchanted world

Sandra was clear from the start: I wanted the wedding to breathe an atmosphere very specific. “Dream of a summer night” was the main thread, and as every great story needs a symbol, orange blossom became the emblem of the celebration: a bridge emotional between the roots of the region of murcia Sandra and valencian Jose, present in the garment, either in the decorative details, and even the emblem designed by brother of the bride.

Park of the Marquise: the perfect setting for a summer night

Although the couple currently resides in Valencia, wanted to keep the tradition of getting married in the land of the bride. Murcia was the natural choice. But so was the farm: a space that, in the words of the bride and groom, should be intimate, collected, and deeply connected to nature, while also allowing a route of fluid of different scenarios.

The Park of the Marquise met with everything: orange and lemon trees, hidden courtyards, pools and secret corners, able to transform each moment of the celebration in an act other than within the same piece of work.

An aesthetic gushing out of the earth

If the imagination was a dream, the decor was the spell. During the cocktail, the flowers exploded in a deployment vibrant: sunflowers, dahlias, carnations, lisianthus, lattices, falling in cascades as if you were born directly from the ground.

At night, the farm was transformed into a stage even more cinematic: sources filled with lemons, oranges and floating candles, roads lit with candles and lights suspended between trees, drawing a warmth envelope. All with the label’s artistic Emy Florists, able to accurately translate every detail that Sandra had dreamed of.

Gastronomy: the peace of mind to hit on what’s most important

Sandra and Jose already knew our proposal: they had been to other weddings where Gourmet Catering & Events was responsible for the menu and the experience. This experience prior was precisely what gave them something valuable in a process full of decisions: trust.

A menu of fresh, mediterranean and elegant

A wedding night, at the beginning of the summer, calling for a clear direction: freshness, lightness, balance and flavor of the mediterranean. The result was a menu with personality, sophistication and winks emotional.

As incoming chose a tuna tartar with salmorejo mango, roe and yuzu ice cream of tomato. The main dish was lamb with porcini mushrooms mushroom and cream of garlic roasted and the sweet touch was the temptation to Kit Kat with hazelnut and whipped chocolate.

Cocktail with soul: corners and tributes personal

During the cocktail, offered hot and cold snacks with a service care and fluid, designed to accompany the natural rhythm of the farm.

And like any big celebration is made of winks, there were two key moments:

The corner of vermouth with gildas, homage directly to the shared passion of the couple by the time of vermouth (and by gildas, as it should be). And in the second place, the mini coastal region of murcia, a lovely gesture towards the land of Sandra: local identity served in format mouthful, celebrated and applauded by all the guests.
